Last week I was cruising through some favorite wedding blogs and stumbled upon a blog feature of one of my friend's weddings on the Santa Barbara Wedding Style Blog. It was so fun to see Fredericka (Fredi for short) and Eric's wedding and relive the fun day.
This wedding was even more special for me because I actually introduced the couple! Turns out they were from the same hometown, and Eric had been very good friends with Fredi's younger sister (they even went to the junior prom together!). I ran into Eric with some friends one evening at a bar after Fredi and I stopped by after dinner one night, and ... the rest is history.

What cracked me up about this blog post from the Santa Barbara Wedding Blog is that I am BLATANTLY caught on film like a wedding paparazza -- I'm the girl sitting at the end of the aisle wearing a bright pink/fuschia dress in the picture of the flower girls walking down the aisle. Whoops! (See above for a picture of me with my friends at the wedding - I'm in the bright dress!)

Some of my favorite details were the escort cards (see link above to the professional pix on the blog) -- and here is a snapshot from my camera, (right) -- loved the wheat grass and the gardenias. I also loved the wording inside the escort cards (below) - I snapped a picture so I could remember the wording. The French macaroon favors on the blog were AMAZING too. Delicious!
