Here are a few images I stumbled today that made me smile -- I loved these and hope you do too. Succulents are one of my favorite plants -- they're definitely a surprise and not expected for weddings. They're also incredibly durable (if you have a brown thumb, try succulents, they'll likely thrive!)
Gorgeous succulent-adorned wedding cake from www.junebugweddings.com.

Cake by Erica O'Brien, and photography by charla BLUE photography.
Here's a bouquet from WeddingChicks.com that looks like a succulent at first glance, but I think its actually a cabbage rose or something of a similar variety. This gorgeous bouquet was photographed by Kathryn Krueger Photography and designed by Texas floral designer Petal Pushers (love the name!). I love the contrast of the colors on the navy blue dress, and I love the little blue berry sprigs.
Another fun wedding from WeddingChicks.com had just an amazing soft look to it, and I swooned when I saw this centerpiece by Arrangements Floral and Party Design. Just loved the light pastel colors, the box that was used in lieu of a vase.
My favorite part was the succulents that were carefully placed at the base of the arrangement. Such a perfect little touch! Mi Belle Photography took this lovely image.
Hey Amy -- the bouquet with the yellow and white includes a single flowering kale, you can find those at our SF Flower Mart in white/green and purple/green -- they're very fun to use and pair really well with other full blooms like hydrangea --
