My Weekend Plans

Now, normally I wouldn't blog about anything as mundane as my weekend plans. Why would you care about them (unless they involved a fantastic wedding that I could share in the future - right?). Well, I don't have a wedding this weekend, but I am attending an event I am SO excited about, and have wanted to attend for a few years now.

For the past few years, the best of the best in the wedding industry have gathered in the Cayman Islands and West Palm Beach to discuss luxury wedding trends and what's new in the wedding industry. The Cayman Islands event happened a few months ago, and now the state-side version is taking place this Sunday in West Palm Beach at the famous Breakers Hotel. The event is called Engage and is organized by the amazing team behind Engaging Concepts.

There is a rock-star worth lineup of speakers including some of my heroes, Darcy Miller of Martha Stewart Weddings, Marcy Blum (wedding planner extraordinaire and author of "Weddings for Dummies"), Mindy Weiss, Carley Roney (founder of theknot.com), cake diva Sylvia Weinstock, founder of StyleMePretty.com Abby Larson, style maven Maria McBride who has written a few of my favorite books on wedding details, and many many more (click here!). The conference is limited to 200 people and comes with a hefty price tag, but I know it will be worth every penny and incredibly inspiring.
