Christmas is 35 days away... One tradition that I know I loved as a kid was opening the advent calendar. Of course that was largely related to the fact that there was chocolate behind the little doors, but I remember running downstairs to the kitchen each morning to pop open the next day's window and see what was inside. Since I had a brother we had to trade off (one of us would get evens, the other would get odds).
