Pink & Light Blue Girly Birthday Bowling Party!

A bowling pin with balloons welcomes the group for bowling
Last fall I helped a client with her daughter's party at a bowling alley outside of San Francisco. The venue was a bit of a challenge, but we managed to still make it a special day for the birthday girl.

See below for more cell phone photos and some behind-the-scenes tips for how we executed this birthday party!

The "party room" had bright walls, but the birthday girl requested a pink and light blue color scheme. Balloon sculptures were and added festive touch.

Light pink and light blue glittered cake pops by Sweet Lauren Cakes were of course a hit!

To bring some pink and blue into the room, we lined the provided tables with pink tablecloths, topped the table with paper party hats in the colors du jour, and then did a layered place setting for each party guest with white, pink, and blue plates and blue polka dot napkins.
Plan ahead tip: We only had about 20 minutes to set up in the room before the kids came in for pizza. We planned ahead by stacking the paper plates in "order" and pre-folding the napkins.

A simple sweets table featured a glittery pink sequin linen from La Tavola to bring some pizazz.

  1. That is an awesome party. Complete with muffins and cakes. Wedding plans like this is a must for couples planning a wedding catering.

  2. Where did you find your plates and napkins? I would like to do this for a twin baby shower.
