As a bride-to-be in 1989, Vera Wang was less than impressed with the wedding gown options available. Her frustration led her to design her first wedding gown for herself. One year later, Vera Wang opened her first bridal boutique at The Carlyle Hotel in New York City. Now she is a prominent wedding gown designer known for fusing sophistication, feminine details, and modern design. Vera Wang wedding gowns are innovative, elegant works of art! Throughout the years, her wedding gowns have graced celebrities like Chelsea Clinton, Ivanka Trump, and Victoria Beckham at their weddings.
