Google's New Wedding Planning Tools

In a partnership with Michelle Rago and Style Me Pretty, Google has officially entered the wedding planning industry! While planners and brides likely have already known, Google Docs is great for sharing information, but now, Google is "making it official" by launching their dedicated wedding page here.

In addition, Google now allows users to create wedding websites. There aren't a ton of site template choices yet, but we imagine that there will be more soon. Pictured here is the "Classic" template:

In our opinion, the most useful of Google's resources are the downloadable templates. Through Google Docs brides can download a master planning excel sheet and more specific sheets such as guest list, to-do list, seating chart, and budget planner. I especially like the seating chart (below), which automatically counts the number of guests at a table and the overall guest count. At first glance the templates are little overwhelming, but they're comprehensive too.

For the super-organized excel-loving brides out there, these Google resources will very likely be a dream come true!

And if all of these Google resources aren't enough, check out Google Goggles, which recognizes print ads and allows you to snap a photo of the perfect gown and find out all the details about the dress!
