Pink & Green Dessert Table

Happy Valentine's Day!

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding segment for Home with Lisa Quinn. The segment hasn't aired yet, but I'll be sure to share the info when it does. For the segment, Lisa asked me if I could put together a pink and green dessert table for a wedding. I was happy to jump at the challenge at started by asking the ladies at Anders Ruff if they could design labels to fit this preppy pink & green theme. (Visit their Etsy shop here).

I then went to work finding sweets to fit the table. Some of the things I picked included cupcakes from Cake Coquette, Cake Pops from Sweet Lauren Cakes, and candy from San Francisco's favorite place for sweet treats, The Candy Store. I rounded out the buffet with meringues from Trader Joes (an inexpensive "filler" if you're doing a dessert table) and some mini pink doughnuts that I couldn't resist.

A special thank you to Dana Hargitay of enLuce Photography who captured the still shots of the dessert table! Dana is a recent transplant to Northern California from Los Angeles, and I had a lot of fun getting to know her. Many thanks to Lisa Quinn too for inviting me to be a part of her show. I always love working with Lisa -- she really puts me at ease (especially on live TV!). My first TV segment ever was with Lisa on a show called View from the Bay (it sadly is no longer on the air).

Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
