Little Details: Lavender at the Hotel Vitale

Yesterday I was in downtown San Francisco doing a site visit with some clients at the Hotel Vitale and noticed that they put a little sprig of lavender at each room's door. I think this is such a nice little touch to welcome guests, and even better, it makes the whole hotel smell like a spa!


We have used lavender a few times during weddings and events; a personal favorite of mine is this wedding at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma which was featured on Style Unveiled. The wedding feature lavender throughout, including tucking a piece into each menu. Similar to the lavender at the Hotel Vitale, it served as a little welcome gift to the guests when they sat down to dinner.
